Hospitality and Tourism at MiraCosta College |

MiraCosta’s world-recognized hospitality and tourism programs offer excellent training for those interested in starting dynamic careers in hospitality, travel or tourism. The programs include classes taught by instructors with great industry experience and contacts; internships in leading local firms; and opportunities to connect with top industry professionals. This
spring semester, MiraCosta is offering a number of hospitality and tourism classes, including:

Topics in Hospitality: Meeting and Conference Management (HOSP 293-3): This three-unit course is an introduction, and will meet Wednesday evenings, February 10-May 26, 6-9:05 p.m. at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside.

Topics in Tourism: Corporate/Business Travel Management (TOUR 293-1): This course will introduce students to managerial issues such as corporate travel departments as a profit/cost center, development of company-wide travel budgets, policies and surveys, and selection of travel vendors. The
course is three units and meets Monday evenings, January 25-May 24, 6-8:45 p.m. also on the Oceanside Campus.
