MiraCosta College’s Community Services Program is offering an intensive class, Study Skills for Teens. In this 9-hour course, students will learn general study skill techniques, how to develop textbook comprehension (no matter the subject), test-taking strategies and overcoming test-taking anxiety, general writing strategies and some applications to specific curricula. Students will get a review of basic math concepts, basic study skills for learning a foreign language, how to write research papers and lab reports, and more!

Study Skills for Teens is scheduled for three Saturdays, March 13-27, 9 a.m.-noon, in Room 4809 at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. The fee for the class is $60. A $5 material fee will be collected in class.
