Oceanside Harbor Days
On September 28-29, 2013, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along Genentech will present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. The event will feature arts and craft exhibits, Pirate's Cove area, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

Two event filled days of sun, sand, and surf provide an outstanding opportunity for residents and neighbors to experience fun activities including the new Pirates Playground, enhanced arts, crafts and food booth area, Nail 'n' Sail Competition, Military, Police & Fire displays, and more.

Harbor Days is free to the public and is presented by Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Oceanside Harbor District and Genentech. Oceanside's 125th Anniversary Celebration
On July 3,  2013, the City of Oceanside will celebrate its 125th anniversary since its incorporation in 1888. Much has happened in those years, but much has stayed the same. Although we’ve grown from a dusty little western town in those very early years, we still celebrate our beach life-style and our name says it all – “Oceanside”. The pier has been a landmark since 1888 and visitors and residents alike still flock to our beautiful beaches. The historic Mission San Luis Rey continues to be the centerpiece in the Valley, celebrating its own 215th anniversary in 2013. The Oceanside Small Craft Harbor will mark its 50th anniversary as well. The Chamber along with the City of Oceanside, Main Street Oceanside, Visit Oceanside, Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and Friends of Oceanside Parks & Recreation will host an Anniversary Cake Cutting Celebration at Civic Center Plaza. Excellence in Education Awards Dinner
On November 7, 2013, the Oceanside Chamber will hold its 6th Annual Excellence in Education Awards Dinner & Auction. The Chamber will honor and recognize “Outstanding Employee of the Year”, “Administrator of the Year”, and “Teacher of the Year.”

The Event will feature a terrific dinner, no-host bar and a silent auction. A portion of the event proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to local students and classroom grants for school projects.

Enlisted Recognition Dinner
On February 28, 2014, the Chamber will hold its Annual Enlisted Recognition Dinner. The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee created an Enlisted Recognition Program in 2001 as a way for the business community to recognize the excellence of the local enlisted personnel. Oceanside Senior Expo
On October 10, 2013, the Oceanside Chamber will hold the Oceanside Senior Expo - Active Lifestyles event at Oceanside Civic Center Plaza. For 14 years, the City of Oceanside has held a Senior Expo to highlight products and services available to our senior community. The Chamber plans to continue this important community tradition in providing access to valuable resources, products and activities geared toward the senior market. Admission to the event is free to community members. Booth space is available for businesses interested in promoting their products or services. Operation Appreciation

On May 17, 2014, the Oceanside Chamber will bring the business community and area residents together to provide a day of recognition to the Marines and Sailors based on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. All active duty military members and their families are treated to a day of free food and entertainment at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre. This event could not occur without corporate sponsorship. Awards and Recognition Luncheon

On July 17, 2013 join the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff to honor and celebrate great achievements by local businesses and to install the Chamber's new Chair and Board Members.

This event will feature a delicious lunch, opportunity to make connections, and the following awards: Innovator of the Year, Philanthropic Business of the Year, Educational Partner of the Year, Patriotic Business of the Year, and Business of the Year.

We will also recognize many longtime chamber members who have anniversaries this year, including 5 years, 10 years, 15 years...all the way up to 65+ years!
