Committees Chamber members are
eligible to participate in one or more of the
following committees…
Ambassadors Committee
The Chamber Ambassadors act as greeters at Chamber
and community events and conduct Ribbon Cuttings for
new businesses.
Business Showcase Committee
Each Spring, the Chamber holds the
North County
Business Showcase. The Business Showcase
committee is instrumental in the planning and
oversight of this event.
Education Committee
The Education Committee raises funds for
scholarships for graduating high school students who
live in Oceanside. They also oversee the
Annual Education Awards Dinner & Auction.
Harbor Days Committee
Oceanside
Harbor Days is an annual two-day event that draws
tens of thousands of visitors to the Oceanside
Harbor. The event includes arts and crafts booths,
food booths, Pirates Cove area, military displays and much more.
The Harbor Days committee, along with Chamber Staff
organizes and operates this event.
Membership Services Committee
The Membership Services Committee assists the
Chamber in planning Chamber networking and
business education programs. They also host the
"Plates for 8" Small Group Networking Luncheons.
Military Affairs Committee
The Military Affairs Committee is key to the
Chamber’s outreach to the Marines and Sailors
located on Camp Pendleton. The Committee organizes a
variety of events that allow the business community
to network with the military while also showing them
our community’s appreciation of their important
work. Events planned by the committee include:
Golf with a
Hero,
Operation
Appreciation (Military Appreciation Event), and the
Enlisted Recognition Breakfast.
Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee reviews laws &
regulations that unreasonably inhibit business,
improve the business climate or affect our quality
of life. When appropriate, the committee will
recommend a course of action to the Chamber’s Board
of Directors.
