North County Health Services is a private, non-profit organization with 11 community health centers providing medical and dental care to 60,000 uninsured and underinsured patients in North San Diego County. While our primary focus is providing healthcare services, we also address the emotional well-being of our patients. One very happy tradition at NCHS is our San Marcos Health Center Children’s Holiday Party. We have successfully opened our doors to our pediatric patients (infants to 12 years) for many years to bring some joy and happiness into their lives at this special time of year! We are planning to have this festive celebration once again.

This event could NOT happen without generous donations from the community members and local businesses. North County Health Services has so many pediatric patients that are among the less fortunate and might not be able to celebrate the holidays with family provided gifts. Your donations will certainly assist us in providing the foundation of a joyous holiday season for these children.

As volunteers for NCHS, we are asking that you open your hearts to the children who will attend the NCHS holiday party. Last year we received monetary contributions, as well as toys and healthy snacks and even some jolly elves! Donations of this same kind are desperately needed again this year.

While we know that we can’t solve all of the economic concerns of our most vulnerable patients, providing a bit of holiday cheer provides hope and the understanding that our community does indeed care.
