CARLSBAD -- Dr. Payam Moazzaz, a member of Tri-City Medical Center’s Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, will give a free lecture titled “Advanced Robotic Spine Surgery” at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Tri-City Wellness Center, 6250 El Camino Real, Carlsbad.

Moazzaz specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spinal deformities. He will talk about the benefits of using the Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance Surgical Guidance System that recently was acquired by Tri-City Medical Center. Tri-City is only the ninth hospital nationwide and the only one in San Diego County to own this transforming technology.

The Renaissance system allows surgeons such as Moazzaz to perform minimally invasive surgeries, which result in smaller incisions and faster recoveries. Patients typically have less pain and fewer complications.

    Please RSVP: Toll Free 855.222.TCMC (8262) www.tricitywellness.com

Refreshments will be served. The lecture continues “The Doc Is In” series.
