OCEANSIDE – The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, our Business and Community Political Action Committee (BACPAC) and MiraCosta College will present a forum for the candidates for the 76th Assembly District. This event will be held on April 16 at 3:00 PM at MiraCosta College in room 3601, “The Little Theater”. The candidates presented will be: Rocky Chavez, Farrah Douglas and Sherry Hodges.
The candidates will be asked specific questions regarding their political beliefs from the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, BACPAC as well as MiraCosta College students. This event will be free and open to the public. The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and MiraCosta College encourage all members of the community to attend to learn more about the candidates that will be the representatives for the district.
“We feel this is an excellent opportunity for the public to hear what the candidates have to say about the issues affecting the business and educational communities,” says Jerry Salyer, chair of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Political Action Committee.
