Tri-City invites public to "Meet the Robots" |

Come learn about the latest advances in robotic surgery and talk to the doctors who use the technology during a daylong Health & Wellness Robotics Expo at the Tri-City Wellness Center, 6250 El Camino Real, Carlsbad.
The "Meet the Robots" expo will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 30.
Two of the technologies -- the da Vinci and Mazor Renaissance Surgical Systems -- will be on display and visitors will have a chance to try out the robots. Tri-City Medical Center is the only hospital in San Diego County to offer spinal surgery using the Mazor Renaissance.
Also on Saturday, June 30, the Wellness Center will host an open house from 8 a.m. to noon with free access to visitors and free massages. The Tri-City Laser & Aesthetics Center will offer free laser demos and visitors can enter to win spa products and other services.
There also will be free heart monitoring and blood pressure screenings provided by cardiac rehab staff.
