Oceanside Rotary Citizen of the Year Crab & Rib Fest, Gold Level Sponsor Pacific Marine Credit Union
For the twelfth year, the Rotary Club of Oceanside its annual Crab and Rib Fest, which this year will revive the Oceanside Citizen of the Year Award. The event will benefit the Oceanside High School, the Retrofit of Mission San Luis Rey, and local needy families during the holiday season, on FRIDAY, AUGUST 3.
The OSO Big Band under the direction of Tom Morrow with vocalist Janet Barton and vocalist-trumpeter Rick Evans will delight the crowd once again.
The popular dinner event will be held in the Heritage Garden at the Mission San Luis Rey, 4050 Mission Ave, Oceanside. Doors open at 6: 00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 and food is served beginning at 7:00 pm. Crab is flown in fresh from Oregon on the day of the dinner. The meal includes ribs from Hunter Steakhouse, clam chowder donated by the Beachbreak Café, pasta by Fratelli’s, bread from Petite Madeline, coleslaw donated by The Jolly Roger, beer from Oceanside Ale Works and coffee service by Vinaka’s Café. Beer and wine will also be available for a nominal additional charge. Our web site service was donated by North County Web Solutions.
Tickets purchased in advance are only $50, Children under age 12 are $25. If any tickets are available on event evening, they will be $55 at the door for adults. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 opportunity drawing.
