4th Annual Walk Away From Domestic Violence Event
A Two Mile Sunset Stroll (or Run) Along Oceanside's Beautiful Harbor
Where: Starting at the Jolly Roger parking lot @ Oceanside Harbor
When: Sunday, October 14, 2012. Starts at 4 pm.
Cost: 18 yrs. and older $30.00; 5 - 7 yrs. $20.00. Sponsorships are welcome! Each participant is welcome to secure as many personal sponsorships as possible over the minimum registration fee. Teams are also welcomed. Sorry, no 4 legged participants allowed.
Payment needs to be received by October 7th.
Each walker will receive a commemorative T-Shirt & Goodie Bag! Prizes will be given for the highest dollars raised & most walkers recruited.
All proceeds benefit the children who reside with their mothers at WRC. The mothers and children are recovering from the affects of domestic violence or sexual assault, and assisted through the many programs and services that WRC provides. Your support in this event will specially allow Friends of WRC to brighten their days along with providing a number of services and opportunities.
