The Oceanside Friends of the Arts(OFOA) is proud to announce the availability of scholarship grants for local Oceanside students interested in pursuing art through their college curriculum. OFOA is the producer of First Friday Art Walk and proceeds from those events support the arts related activities for the Oceanside community including scholarships.
The Summer Laboratory Science Program at Tri-City Medical Center offers high school students the opportunity to explore career options and gain experience in the clinical laboratory environment. Clinical laboratory work is different from research work in that a patient’s diagnosis, treatment, and health may be directly dependent upon the laboratory testing results. Our scientists are part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patients’ health.

An Afternoon with Author and Succulent Expert Debra Lee Baldwin
The Friends of the Oceanside Public library, with the support of the Library and local business and community groups, will host a “Simply Succulent” event at the El Corazon Senior Center, 3302 Senior Drive, Oceanside, CA. on Saturday, May 18, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne, light refreshments, and a small succulent to take home. The Filipino-American Cultural Organization (FACO) and the Oceanside Public Library will be hosting the 18th Annual Filipino Cultural Celebration on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The event will take place in the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza, located downtown at 330 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside’s Cultural District, from 12:00 noon to 6:30 p.m. Event admission is free and open to the public.
