Oceanside, CA (DECEMBER, 2019) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) is pleased to announce that it has received a $20,000 grant from the Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation. Grant funds will be used to support the Club’s enriching after school programs and out-of-school-time camps.
 Oceanside, CA (January 2020) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $25,000 grant from Rite Aid Foundation KidsCents to support their Culinary Arts program. Last year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside completed a state-of-the-art commercial Culinary Arts Teaching Kitchen. Housed in the new Center for Innovation, this kitchen enables BGCO to serve freshly prepared meals onsite as well as teach cooking classes, giving youth hands-on experience with nutritious, healthy cooking. Through the Culinary Arts program, youth learn about kitchen safety, basic cooking skills and the importance of a well-balanced diet.

Cox Communications awarded BGCO with a $15,000 grant to transform their outdated teen building into a new Cox Tech Center complete with 10 brand new laptops, two digital cameras and podcast equipment.
 The proceeds from the golf tournament will be used by Post 760 to support the needs of veterans and others in the community! Register today!

 Oceanside, CA (SEPTEMBER, 2019) – On Thursday, September 5th, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) held their 5th Annual Board Installation Breakfast to recognize and honor individuals, organizations and corporate partners for their commitment and dedication to the Club over the past year and to induct the 2019-2020 Board of Directors. With over 50 community members in the audience, City of Oceanside Mayor, Peter Weiss, pinned the incoming Board of Directors, and Ruchi Warrier, Director of Organization Development from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, read the official Board Oath of Office.

 Oceanside, CA (July 2019) San Diego County District 5 Supervisor Jim Desmond toured Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) today. Supervisor Desmond and his team met with Jodi Diamond, CEO; Hillary Adams, Director of Operations; and Board members Gigi Gleason, Robert Botkin, and Robbie Hass and discussed the history of the Club and the vital role that it plays in the Oceanside community.

 Oceanside, CA (JULY, 2019) Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) was awarded $5,877 from the California Arts Council as part of its Youth Arts Action program.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) received a $5,000 Sports 4 Life grant from the Women’s Sports Foundation to start an all girls’ volleyball program. The Sports 4 Life initiative, cofounded by the Women’s Sports Foundation and espnW, supports programs that help girls in four foundational areas - leadership, self-esteem, confidence and perseverance – with the expectation that growth in these areas will also support girls’ physical and emotional health and academic success.
