Tracy Millero-Chin
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

A native of the Snow Belt in northwestern Pennsylvania, Tracy has been living in the Oceanside sunshine for the last 17 years.
Having gone to school to become a nurse, she found her calling in the golf industry, when she moved west to work for TaylorMade adidas Golf in Carlsbad. She began her career at TaylorMade in customer service and inside sales, where she serviced and sold to some of the highest profile golf courses and golf specialty retailers in the nation.
Tracy then set her sights on a career in Human Resources, and became TaylorMade’s training and development coordinator. She helped develop training programs for the management team and ensured all managers, directors and executive staff were kept up to date on all federal and state labor and employment laws. In addition, she started the women’s golf league, ran all the company’s events, parties and health fairs. Tracy was then tapped on the shoulder to become the lead recruiter and HR generalist for TaylorMade.
But after the birth of her second child, she decided to be a stay at home mom and spend time raising her two children. The go getter she is, Tracy felt like she still had something to offer. In the fall of 2010, she started her own business, which rented baby equipment to families travelling to San Diego County. While running this business, Tracy quickly embraced what it meant to be a business owner and entrepreneur. She ran every facet of her company: sales, marketing, finance, operations, HR and customer service.
After successfully running this business for several years, she wanted to spend less time on the road and more time with her family so she sold it and started working closer to home. Tracy is the Chamber’s new Finance and Human Resources Administrator and she is excited to seeing how she can help Oceanside’s businesses grow!
