Oceanside Harbor Days

On September 19th and 20th,  2009, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Cox Communications and Genentech will present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. The event will feature arts and craft exhibits, Pirate's Cove area, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

Two event filled days of sun, sand, and surf provide an outstanding opportunity for residents and neighbors to experience fun activities including the new Pirates Cove exhibition, vintage pirate ships, children's area, Nail 'n' Sail Competition, Military, Police & Fire displays, and more.

North County Health & Wellness Fair

On August 13, 2009 the Chamber will hold its 4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair. This event provides an opportunity for local health related businesses to promote their products and services. The event also features a variety of health related educational workshops, screenings and demonstrations for community members. The event is free of charge to the public and is presented by Genentech and Tri-City Medical Center.

Excellence in Education Awards Dinner

On Thursday, October 8th, the Oceanside Chamber will hold its 2nd Annual Excellence in Education Awards Dinner & Auction. The Chamber will honor and recognize “Outstanding Employee of the Year”, “Administrator of the Year”, and “Teacher of the Year.”

The Event will feature a terrific dinner, no-host bar and a silent auction. A portion of the event proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to local students and classroom grants for school projects.

San Diego Business Showcase

On March 11, 2010, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will hold the San Diego Business Showcase (formerly North County Business Showcase) at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

We now have space for 250 exhibits and thousands of attendees, making the San Diego Business Showcase one of the County's premiere business events.

Enlisted Recognition Breakfast

Each quarter, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce holds a breakfast program at the South Mesa Staff NCO Club on Camp Pendleton to recognize the outstanding Marines and Sailors from the previous quarter. This event is open to all chamber members who are interested in showing their appreciation to these Marines and Sailors. An Evening with the Mayor

Each year, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce provides an opportunity for local business leaders to hear from the Mayor of Oceanside.  In early 2010, Mayor Jim Wood will provide an update on matters of importance to the Oceanside Business Community.

Operation Appreciation

On May 15, 2010, the Oceanside Chamber will bring the business community and area residents together to provide a day of recognition to the Marines and Sailors based on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. All active duty military members and their families are treated to a day of free food and entertainment at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre. This event could not occur without corporate sponsorship. On June 4, 2010, the Chamber will hold its 10th Annual Military & Commercial Golf Outing, titled "Golf with a Hero".
