Oceanside Harbor Days

On September 20th and 21st,  2008, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Cox Communications and Genentech will present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. The event will feature arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

Two event filled days of sun, sand, and surf provide an outstanding opportunity for residents and neighbors to experience fun activities including the new Pirates Plunder exhibition, vintage pirate ships, children's area, Nail 'n' Sail Competition, Military, Police & Fire displays, and more.

Harbor Days is free to the public and is presented by Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Oceanside Harbor District, Cox Communications and Genentech. Operation Appreciation

Each May, the Chamber brings the Oceanside Business Community and area residents to provide a day of recognition to the Marines and Sailors based on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. All active duty military members and their families are treated to a day of free food and entertainment at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre. This event could not occur without corporate sponsorship. North County Business Showcase

On March 11, 2009, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual North County Business Showcase. With more than 120 exhibits and hundreds of attendees, this has become one of San Diego County's premiere business expos.

The Showcase is presented by Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. Event Sponsors include: Tri-City Medical Center, Bank of America, North County Times and Smarter Small Business. North County Health & Wellness Fair

On August 14, 2008 the Chamber will hold its 3rd Annual Health & Wellness Fair. This event provides an opportunity for local health related businesses to promote their products and services. The event also features a variety of health related educational workshops, screenings and demonstrations for community members. The event is free of charge to the public and is presented by Genentech and Tri-City Medical Center, and sponsored by Sharp Mission Park Medical Centers.

Golf with a Hero

On April 2, 2009, the Chamber will hold its 9th Annual Military & Commercial Golf Outing, titled "Golf with a Hero". This event provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to treat a young Marine or Sailor to a round of golf while enjoying their company for a day at Camp Pendleton's beautiful Marine Memorial Golf Course.

Enlisted Recognition Breakfast

Each quarter, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce holds a breakfast program at the South Mesa Staff NCO Club on Camp Pendleton to recognize the outstanding Marines and Sailors from the previous quarter. This event is open to all chamber members who are interested in showing their appreciation to these Marines and Sailors. An Evening with the Mayor

Each year, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce provides an opportunity for local business leaders to hear from the Mayor of Oceanside.  On March 27, 2008 Mayor Jim Wood provided an update on matters of importance to business such as current and future development in the city.

Excellence in Education Awards Dinner

This year's theme for the Chamber's Annual Excellence in Education Awards Dinner is "Be True to Your School". The Chamber will honor and recognize “Classified Employee of the Year”, “Administrator of the Year”, and “Teacher of the Year.”

The Event will feature dinner, dancing,  and a silent auction. A portion of the event proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to local students and classroom grants for school projects.

Marine Corps Birthday Reception

For forty-eight years, the Marines of Camp Pendleton have been toasted at the  historic Mission San Luis Rey, in recognition of the birthday of the Corps.  The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce continues the tradition. 

On November 6, 2008 we will salute the 233rd Birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
