MiraCosta College Theatre Presents The School for Scandal
The MiraCosta College Theatre Department presents The School for Scandal written by Richard Brinsley Sheridan. The play opens November 9 at the MiraCosta College Theatre, located at 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. Tracy Williams will direct. The Veterans Memorial Museum of Balboa Park in San Diego cordially invite you to a Veterans Day art exhibition of paintings by Gulf War Navy veteran artist W.B. of Cynthia's Artistic Expressions for our new art gallery inauguration. W.B. is a fine arts oil painter and muralist of Oceanside. He has worked throughout the San Diego area including The World Beat Cultural Center in Balboa Park. He has also spoken at the PTSD Art symposium about the benefits of art therapy. The soft opening of the new gallery begins at 4pm Sunday November 11th, 2018. The reception begins at 6:30pm and the event will end at 8:30pm. This is a free family friendly event.

John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell. In keeping with this historic selection, an Oceanside Public Library panel discussion will highlight the significant themes of the book. The free, public event will be held in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, 330 N. Coast Highway, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. Each year, Vista Community Clinic (VCC) provides affordable, high quality pediatric care to more
than 20,000 children of all ages. The Holiday Homes Tour benefits the VCC Kare for Kids Fund which provides low or no cost health and dental care to children in need in our community and is also dedicated to transforming VCC's pediatric facilities into warm and welcoming spaces for children and families. The goal is to create pediatric waiting areas and exam rooms with comfortable seating, whimsical art, books and puzzles to engage young patients as they receive care at each VCC site.
