Special presentation Scripps Health property at Jefferson and Vista Way. Scripps is proposing a new medical office building in Oceanside and presented on the design and plans. Scripps will come back to a future meeting to ask for support from the committee.

Chamber will be taking a deeper dive to research and consider positions on 51, 52, 54, 55, 56, 58, 65, 67 and measure A in an upcoming meeting.

… Sober living home panel in San Clemente tonight, community will voice concerns about sober living homes popping up in thier communities
…October 5th Congressman Issa will be renaming the post office on Camp Pendleton

...Senator Bates authored a bill to expand tax benefits for veterans, and ransomware the criminal equivalent of extortion, and a bill to protect our first responders with drones
…Assemblymember, Colonel Rocky Chavez – voted no on the farm workers bill because it will harm the workers as famers will just hire more workers to keep their hours down, voted no on mandatory state run retirement)

… MiraCosta Measure MM his hosting a kickoff party to raise awareness and earn your support, the chamber supports Measure MM and the San Diego Tax Payers Association just endorsed the measure

… Oceanside PAC will host candidate forums at Mira Costa College, Tri-City (7:15) and OUSD (5:30) will be on Thursday, September 22 – then City Council Candidates forum at 5:30pm on Tuesday September 27th.
