On Saturday January 27th, Cinematic Arts & Sound invited community out to celebrate the grand opening of their new studio. Guests were greeted with live music, wine and desserts before the grand reveal of their new studio. After the ribbon cutting, attendees entered a raffle to win a private screening before taking tours of the business. The creativity of the owners reflected directly in the décor and artwork displayed throughout the studio.

Set your calendars to March 8-11, 2018 when USA Beach Handball comes to the beaches of Oceanside. The newest of beach sports will feature teams from North America, South America and Central America playing for the title of Pan American Beach Handball Champion.
Both men’s and women’s teams will be competing, representing Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, USA, Ecuador, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad/Tobago, Chile and Venezuela. Featured teams will represent Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and the U.S. The USA Men’s Team is defending champion. Both Brazilian teams, men and women, have won world championships several times in recent years. The best 4 teams on both the men’s and women’s side advance to the World Championships in Russia, July 2018.
On Saturday January 20th, Self Made Training Facility held a grand opening party for their new location, 4263 Oceanside Blvd. Guests were able to take tours of their 5,700 sq. ft. facility and speak one-on-one with over a dozen of their elite trainers. Numerous fitness industry leaders offered product samples and advice while the kids had their own, “fun zone” in a jumper provided by Self Made Training Facility. On Saturday January 12th, Signs of San Diego hosted their 5 Year Anniversary Party. Owner, Frank Murch and his staff celebrated debuting many of their fabulous signs made over the years. Upon walking in, guests were offered a free, laminate business card to take home. Attendees took a creative tour of the shop with a fun scavenger hunt.
