Special presentation on dead bills from Chris Marsh, District Director, Senator Bates;

1. SB1140, died in committee but will be reconsidered…
2. SB1141, died in committee but will be reconsidered. The bill intended to create a pilot program that would allow for local control of roads / highways, basically disband CALTRANS.
3. SB1142, ADA reform bill that died would have assisted small business in defending themselves against predatory litigation, but fortunately, there is still movement to support businesses with predatory ADA litigation (example: SB269, AB54).
4. SB1248, died in committee but will be reconsidered. Would require CEQA litigators to be more transparent.
5. SB1251, died in committee but will be reconsidered. California Financial Transparency Act
