Arrowood Golf Course is happy to announce that the most challenging finishing stretch of golf in north county San Diego now has a name.
“Following a lengthy search and corresponding contest, we are thrilled to have a title befitting the final four holes at our Championship course,” said Tom Son, General Manager at Arrowood. “In near unanimity, golfers, since our opening in the spring of 2005, have marveled at the beauty and complexity of this portion of our golf course”. In a private ribbon cutting ceremony to be held at the course on March 7, 2019 at 4 O’clock the course will unveil the new name with a sign that marks the beginning of the final 4 hole stretch near the 15th tee box.
The ceremony will be attended by contestants whose submission for the new name were selected as one of the finalists by our panel of staff judges. Also, in attendance will be a few local dignitaries who will help us christen the new name. In addition to unveiling the new name and sign on the 15th tee, the event will include hors d’oeuvres with a ‘Horse Race’ style competition for the contestants to participate in to follow.
