Tande brings broad finance, organizational and management expertise to role. LA JOLLA, Calif. – Scripps Health has named Brett Tande as its corporate senior vice president and chief financial officer. Tande started his position at Scripps March 28. He is responsible for financial planning and financial operations, which includes corporate finance, treasury, hospital and ambulatory financial operations, real estate operations, payroll, revenue cycle and all affiliated functions. Tande will take over the role from Richard Rothberger, who will retire from Scripps May 6 after 20 years of service.

Every year more than a thousand community college students from all over the country apply for the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. The Undergraduate Scholarship helps transfer students cover the final two or three years necessary to earn bachelor’s degrees. Elected officials and water leaders throughout southern California commemorated the milestone, aptly celebrated on World Water Day.
MiraCosta College’s spring 2021 eight-week classes begin March 28, with hundreds of classes in a range of subjects that conclude at the same time as “regular” courses. Eight-week classes are offered with a primarily online course schedule. The Foundation’s grant provides $1 of funds for every $1 raised by TrueCare for their mobile units for a total of $200,00 over the next two years. The matching opportunity will have a timely impact at TrueCare’s “Magical Masquerade” Grand Gala on March 26, when guests have the chance to personally ensure increased access to healthcare as they raise their paddle and have their donation doubled. The Conrad Prebys Foundation is also matching online (truecare.org/giving) donations to TrueCare that are designated for their mobile unit.
