Studio ACE is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives through Arts, Community, and Education. Studio ACE was founded in 2018 by Executive Director Julia Fister who worked for many years in nonprofit arts organizations. Witnessing firsthand what the power of arts education can do for people of all ages, Julia made it her personal mission to find a way to provide affordable and accessible arts education opportunities for the North San Diego County community, and Studio ACE was born. What began as a dream is now a flourishing reality, with Studio ACE providing an array of arts education offerings through classes in their physical studio space, programs with Oceanside Unified School District, and robust partnerships with other community organizations. Though Studio ACE is not yet able to reopen to the public, that does not stop them from bringing creativity to your home this holiday season.
Write On, Oceanside! is an annual literary festival to celebrate and inspire local authors, hosted by Oceanside Public Library and the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF). This year's celebration will be online and will take place on January 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. The event will feature an announcement of the top three “Ode to Oceanside” Writing Contest submissions, along with a reading of the winning ode, announcement and reading of the top three submissions for the 6 Word Story Contest, the results of the Never-Ending Story Community Writing Project, and a Local Author Showcase. The AC - is a 6 week actors workshop for actors 18 and older to collect and work on the craft of acting. You will be taken on a journey of character development - scene work - cold reads - audition preparation - monologues - Master Classes - script analysis - improvisation - and more. Your instructors are the Star Theatre Co Producing Artistic Director - David Schulz along with Al Valletta - Acting Coach / director of stage and screen - Creator of the Valletta Workshop with special guest instructors adding to the collective. Join us and discover tools, tips, and techniques which will hone your skills and help you fly.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside to Open for Summer Camp June 15th, With Safety and Social Distancing Measures in Place
Oceanside, CA (May 31, 2020) - Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) is excited to announce that they will open for summer camp on Monday, June 15th. Safety of BGCO youth and staff is the number one priority and BGCO will open in accordance with all CDC, State of California, and San Diego County reopening requirements. It is due to this abundance of caution that BGCO is setting a maximum occupancy of 77 members at this time.

Oceanside Theatre Company Opens Season with Family Centered Production, Foxfire, October 11 at the Brooks Theater
(Oceanside, CA) September 27, 2019— Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC), the resident professional theatre company at the Historic Brooks, will open its season with an enriching production centered on family and its perseverance through adversity. After engaging audiences at Scripps Ranch Theatre last month, Foxfire, by Hume Croyn and Susan Cooper, moves up to OTC to share the power of family and history with the community at the Brooks Theater from October 11-27— each Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
