Jovanhy Martinez is committed to hard work, and it shows. A defender for the men’s soccer team, who graduated in May with a 3.96 GPA in Mechanical Engineering, Martinez was recently named MiraCosta College’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year. “It’s a huge honor,” Jovanhy says. “I wasn’t expecting it.”
John Redford has 20 years of experience as a real estate investor, residential property developer, and manager. Oceanside, CA (June 22, 2020)- Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $10,000 grant from The Leichtag Foundation to support their emergency food program. BGCO has been providing meals to the community’s youth since May 4th, offering fresh-made lunches and snacks to children under the age of 18. Due to this generous funding, BGCO will continue to provide curbside lunch pick up throughout the summer. Since beginning the program, BGCO has served over 12,000 meals and snacks.
