This annual event is an opportunity to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention and benefits TrueCare’s™ behavioral health division. Joining in on this date with cities all across America, Oceanside will host it’s first evening time-frame National Day of Prayer event (since before the COVID pandemic) on Thursday, May 4th, at 6:00 p.m. This unique, community-wide gathering for prayers and worship will take place at the Heritage Park, located at 220 Peyri Drive, Oceanside 92057, near the large gazebo.

Community organizers and organizations come together to keep the Dia de los Muertos Festival in Oceanside. Spearheaded by many and headed by Friends of Oceanside Dia de los Muertos and Chema and Manuel Navarro of Por Siempre Car Club, the festival will continue this tradition and has moved back to Downtown Oceanside where it began for its 20th celebratory year.
