Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside Receive Qualcomm Foundation Grant for STREAMing Ahead Program2/5/2021
 Oceanside, CA (February 2020) - Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $10,000 grant from the Qualcomm Foundation to support the STREAMing Ahead program. This grant will help encourage at risk youth to explore the world of STEM and inspire them to plan for bright futures, even in the midst of the pandemic.
WHAT: Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) will continue to offer their free, curbside Emergency Food Program over the holiday break. Lunch and snack are available for any youth under 18, and they do not need to be a Club member. We will provide two lunches and two snacks each pick-up day.

 Oceanside, CA (November13, 2020) - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $10,000 grant from the Rest Haven Children’s Health Fund for our Food and Snack Program. As school closures continue, this much needed program provides nutritious lunches and snacks to youth attending BGCO’s Back2School Program.

This grant will help offset the exponential increase in expenses brought on by the pandemic, including individual educational supplies and food for the Emergency Food Program. BGCO’s life-changing programs support the academic success and overall wellbeing of youth during these challenging times.

Oceanside, CA (June 22, 2020)- Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has received a $10,000 grant from The Leichtag Foundation to support their emergency food program. BGCO has been providing meals to the community’s youth since May 4th, offering fresh-made lunches and snacks to children under the age of 18. Due to this generous funding, BGCO will continue to provide curbside lunch pick up throughout the summer. Since beginning the program, BGCO has served over 12,000 meals and snacks.

Even a pandemic can’t keep us from celebrating mom! Our Annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast is going virtual! Since we can’t come together for fun and fellowship in person, we will “see” you on Saturday, May 9th.  Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside’s (BGCO) 32nd Annual Boys and Girls Night Out Gala. Join more than 200 guests, including sponsors, elected officials, and supporters in attending our amazing gala. Funds raised will support scholarships for youth and our enriching out-of-school time programs. Your support will impact the lives of over 1,400 Club Members each day.
 Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside’s (BGCO) Annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast is an opportunity for Club families, community members, and staff to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend in fellowship with one another. The Club will be serving homemade pancakes fresh off the griddle, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, and coffee. Tickets can be purchased online at bgcoceanside.org or at the door.
