The Art of Music theme was inspired by the donation of over 300 pieces of sheet music. Jean Einum Bland offered her Mother’s vintage collection to OCAF – to do with it as they wished. So Board members decided to create unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces. Bundles of music by category include: Broadway Shows, Irving Berlin, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Rudy Valee, Other Well-Known Singers, Christmas, Religious, Hawaiian, States. All with gratitude to Jean and her mother, Kathryn Burke Einum.

With new 20-year Brooks Theater Lease in place, Alex Goodman, a mainstay in San Diego Theatre, appointed Managing Director to chart OTC’s future (Oceanside, CA) – Now in its 11th year of operations, Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC), the resident professional performing arts company at the “Sunshine” Brooks Theater, has served as stewards of the historic, city-owned theater and adjoining Studio 219 on North Coast Highway in Oceanside since the organization’s inception. Located in the heart of downtown Oceanside, the Brooks Theater is the cultural center point of this North County region, uniquely recognized as only one of 14 inaugural Cultural Districts designated by the State of California.

ACE Executive Director Julia Fister will pre-record talks that focus on different "ism’s" in Art History. Each talk will highlight one artist each month to illustrate selected movements in Art History. Then, a teaching artist will pair the theme with a live, virtual art making class (over Zoom) to further illustrate the movement. Studio ACE is an education arts space located in Oceanside with a mission of enriching lives through Arts, Community, and Education.
