Beach parking lots are permitted to reopen in Oceanside and across the County tomorrow -- Tuesday, June 9. Current beach parking permit holders are offered a rebate on their next parking permit purchase. The Oceanside Pier will also reopen tomorrow. Initially, open hours for the Pier will be 4:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. We are working on reopening City Hall to the public. Date of reopening of counters will be announced soon.
On Friday, State officials announced that more business sectors may reopen starting June 12, with safety modifications. The sectors reopening are included below with a link to the "Guidance" (precautionary documents to guide operations). The San Diego County Health Officer must concur, and we should learn more about what the County will allow this week. These include:
Reopening these sectors is based on a variety of COVID-19 trends and the capacity of the healthcare system to cope with the virus's impact on the public. I have a parking pass that expired June 30th. I want to get another and I tried to online but I couldn’t make it work. Can I come in now to city hall to get one?
