Representative Levin toured the Center for Innovation, which include a Culinary Arts Teaching Kitchen, Performing Arts Center and STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts and Math) Lab. The mentorship and innovative programming that the Center for Innovation will provide is vital to ensuring BGCO’s vision-- that every member graduates from high school on time with a plan for the future.
During the visit, they also discussed BGCO’s proximity to Camp Pendleton and the large number of military connected youth they serve.
“We were honored to host Representative Mike Levin and his team. We look forward to partnering with him to improve the lives of youth in our community,” said Jodi Diamond, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside.
