"We will also be adding a two-lane walking and jogging track around the perimeter of the athletic fields," said Tom Macias, Facilities Director for the district. He added, "This will help to create a small athletics field complex that better utilizes the bowl area in that part of the campus."
The project architect is LPA, Inc. Other project partners include Kitchell, providing overall management of the capital improvement program, as well as construction management services; Dudek, providing environmental engineering; SMS Geotechnical Solutions, providing geotechnical engineering; Alliance Engineering, providing project inspection, and MTGL, providing special inspection and material testing.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this project will happen at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18.
