The inside has also been strategically designed by VCC’s Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Rebecca Cornille, with the patient in mind. A spokesperson for the clinic had this to say about the interior: “by adding activities for kids, soothing images and sounds, and tvs in the ceilings, we’ve put a lot of effort into trying to create an experience that patients would appreciate, at any age, when visiting the dentist.” While any hands-on activities are being put on hold during COVID-19, the clinic looks forward to still giving children and adults a positive experience while at the dentist.
VCC: Mission Pediatric & Family Dentistry will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and will offer services to patients of all ages. The new dental office is conveniently located within walking distance of two other VCC health centers – VCC: Horne and VCC: Pier View, giving patients the option to get comprehensive health and dental care in the same neighborhood. They will also be accepting Medi-Cal, easing the burden for many local residents that hold this insurance.
