Oceanside, CA - The North County Transit District (NCTD) is set to launch the “beta” or test version of a new website to support the future upgrade of the current GoNCTD.com site. Beginning on March 15, 2019, the public will be invited to visit the new website, browse the pages, and take a short survey documenting their experience. The current website, which has been in place for more than five years, utilizes three different sites to make up GoNCTD.com - a desktop version, a limited access mobile version, and a news center for press releases. The redesigned site will merge all of these into one easy-to-access website. NCTD has partnered with Pavlov Advertising, LLC to completely redesign and reformat GoNCTD.com. The new site offers a fully responsive format to ensure ease of use on any device, a custom-designed schedules page, and intuitive design that allows the user to promptly find the information they need. The website has also been vetted by multiple sources to ensure ADA access and compliance.
“We are very excited to roll out this new website,” says NCTD Marketing & Communications Manager, Kimberly Wall. “Any time we can offer new technology to our riders that makes it easier to understand transit and gives them the confidence to try it out is a good day in my book.” “Taking the next step in launching this website will be another accomplishment towards our continuous goal to provide convenient and user-friendly transportation services,” said NCTD Executive Director, Matthew Tucker. “We hope that many of our customers will take part in the beta testing and we look forward to a better experience for the hundreds of thousands of visitors we have to our site each year.” The beta version of the website can be accessed at beta.GoNCTD.com. The public is invited to review the site and give feedback via a survey that can be found at the top of the page. NCTD will use feedback from the survey to make changes to support the launch of the upgraded site in April 2019. Comments are closed.
