SDCCU is Collecting Monetary Donations for Children’s Hospitals in Southern California during the Miracle Month of May

SDCCU has partnered with Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, CHOC Children’s in Orange County, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Cottage Children’s Medical Center in Santa Barbara

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (May 15, 2023) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is collecting monetary donations for children’s hospitals throughout Southern California in celebration of the Miracle Month of May. Donations collected will help provide medical care for children at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Cottage Children’s Medical Center in Santa Barbara. Donations can be made in-branch or online through May 31.

“In honor of Miracle Month of May, SDCCU is pleased to support four of Southern California's top children's hospitals,” said SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Campbell. “We encourage our community to donate at their local branch or online to help these facilities continue to provide world-class healthcare to the children in our neighborhoods. Your donations will go directly to these hospitals to support the treatments being given to these critically ill children.”
 
More than 10 million kids enter children’s hospitals like Rady Children's Hospital across North America every year. Children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support to provide the best care for kids, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns.
