Solicitation of Applications for Membership TransNet Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee

We are excited to announce two upcoming vacancies for the TransNet Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee (ITOC) and are requesting your assistance in looking for qualified candidates.

Please share the public notice with your contacts, engineering and construction associations, business associations, or other groups which you feel would produce a candidate with the required experience. Applications are gladly accepted through February 14, 2020 by 5 p.m.
 
The current vacancies on the seven-member committee are in the following categories:

• Chief Executive Officer, or person in an equivalent senior-level decision making position of a major private sector employer with demonstrated experience in leading a large organization
• Licensed engineer with credentials in the field of transportation project design or construction, and a minimum of ten years of experience in a relevant and senior decision-making position in the government or private sector

The ITOC aids in the implementation of the TransNet program, the San Diego region’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, administered by SANDAG.

ITOC membership is open to individuals from throughout the region, who possess a set of appropriate professional skills and experience. More detailed information regarding the ITOC and its responsibilities can be found at sandag.org/ITOC.
