5 Truck Drivers were recognized for reaching over 1 Million Safe Driving Miles Stater Bros. Markets recently recognized its 273 Truck Drivers for safely transporting the best and freshest quality merchandise from the Company’s 2.1 million sq. ft. Distribution Center to your local Stater Bros. market.
The 35th Annual Driver’s Safety Awards Breakfast was recently held at the Riverside Convention Center. At the breakfast, Raymond Fernandes, Manuel Garcia, Steven Powers, Dan Rosetti and Kirk Sumpter were recognized for earning the “One Million Miles Safe Driving” award. To receive this prestigious award, Stater Bros. Truck Drivers must maintain a record of 15-years of safe driving without a single accident or citation. Award recipients are presented with special “Million Mile” jackets and caps to acknowledge their dedication and commitment to road safety. To date, there are over 161 current and retired “Family” members who have earned the highly regarded “One Million Miles Safe Driving” award. In addition, there are 25 current and retired “Family” members who have earned the “Two Million Miles Safe Driving” award, which requires 30-years of citation and accident free safe driving. “I am so proud of the professionalism our Truck Drivers demonstrate daily,” stated Stater Bros.
