​Studio ACE Adult Art Classes for July 2019

Oceanside, CA, July 1, 2019 – Studio ACE announces its July line-up of classes for adults. You can register for all classes on studioace.org; call 760-730-5203 or stop by Studio ACE at 3861 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92058. The Studio is located next to the Mission Branch of the Oceanside Library.

July Special Adult Classes:

Sewing Problem Solving Class!
This is a hands-on overview of machine sewing. Bring your sewing machine, your questions, and/or a sewing project that is troubling you and let textile artist Ann Olsen help you solve your sewing problems!
Topics to be covered include essential sewing equipment, machine operation basics & trouble-shooting, choosing fabrics, and choosing a pattern. Your questions and concerns will drive the class content.

Fee: $20 per person

Continuous Adult Art Classes:

Live Model Drawing Class
Have you been wanting to draw from a live model? Now you can!
Join other artists on the second and fourth Saturday’s at Studio ACE for a three-hour session. All levels of beginning and advanced artists are welcomed!  Working with a live nude model, you will start with quick gestures and progress to longer poses while drawing with charcoal on paper. The Studio has 6 easels available on a first-come first-serve basis. There are plenty of tables and chairs.
Dates & Times: 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Fee: $15, ($12 military)

Watercolor Classes with Kene Lohmann
Kene Lohmann invites you into his world of colorful landscapes and will help you create your own visual escape through the world of watercolor. All levels of artists, especially beginners are welcome! Extended for July, there will be Plein Air Watercolor and Drawing on Friday mornings!
Dates and Times:
Continuous Monday’s 6:30-8:30pm
Continuous Friday’s 10:30am-12:30pm
Please Note: Extended for the month of July, all Friday morning watercolor classes will be held outdoors. The location is a 10-minute drive from Studio ACE. Location will be provided via email upon registration.
Fee: $20 for first class includes all supplies. After that, cost is $20 plus $5 for supplies or bring your own. Supply list is on the website.
Register and choose the class you’d like to take.
Limit: 10 people
