Studio ACE Adult Art Classes for September 2019

Oceanside, CA, September 6, 2019 – Studio ACE announces its September line-up of classes for Adults. The Studio is located next to the Mission Branch of the Oceanside Library.

September Special Adult Classes:

Palate to Palette with Margaret Chiaro

Paint your own masterpiece! In this class, instructor Margaret Chiaro will feature Courbet’s The Calm Sea, with all supplies and step-by-step instruction included. Feel free to bring beer, wine and/or food for yourself or to share, and come prepared for a great time while flexing your creative and artistic muscles!

NEW Continuous Adult Classes Starting in September:

Meditate & Sketch Weekly Class

Clear your mind, experience less stress, and open yourself up to creativity! Each class will explore different meditations and end with a little time to reflect on the experience through journaling and sketching. Classes are led by Corinna Stocker, a certified Kundalini yoga instructor and art teacher.

Dates and Times: Every Thursday from 6:00-7:00pm
Fee: $10 per class ($8 military)
Limit: 12 people, Adults Only

Watercolor Techniques Weekly Class

Kene Lohmann invites you into his colorful world and will help you create your own visual escape through the world of watercolor. Artists of all skill or levels are welcome, no experience required! This fun class is especially good for beginners where you will learn various techniques you will be able to use and apply to your paintings.

Date: Every Wednesday Morning
Time: 10:30am-12:00pm
Fee: $10 ($8 Military) for first class (supplies included); add $5 supply cost for subsequent classes
NOTE: Supplies are included in first class; For subsequent classes, add $5 for supplies, or students may bring their own.

Continuous Adult Art Classes:

Live Model Drawing Class

Have you been wanting to draw from a live model? Now you can! Join other artists on the second and fourth Saturday’s at Studio ACE for a three-hour session. All levels of beginning and advanced artists are welcomed! Working with a live nude model, you will start with quick gestures and progress to longer poses while drawing with charcoal on paper. The Studio has 6 easels available on a first-come first-serve basis. There are plenty of tables and chairs.

Dates & Times: 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE: This month’s session will be on Saturday, September 14th only Fee: $15, ($12 military)

Monday Night Watercolor with Kene Lohmann

Kene Lohmann invites you into his world of colorful landscapes and will help you create your own visual escape through the world of watercolor. All levels of artists, especially beginners are welcome! Extended for August, there will be Plein Air Watercolor and Drawing on Friday mornings!

Dates and Times: Continuous Monday’s 6:30-8:30pm
Fee: $20 ($17 military) for first class includes all supplies. After that, cost is $20 plus $5 for supplies or bring your own. Supply list is on the website.
