​Studio ACE Teen’s Art Classes for February and March 2019

Studio ACE announces its February and March line-up of classes for teens. You can register for all classes on studioace.org or call 760-730-5203 to register or stop by Studio ACE at 3861 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92058, located next to the Mission Branch of the Oceanside Library.

Special February Teen Classes:
 
Teen Class Series: Mixed Media & Surrealism with Bruce Carrion
 
Inspired by works of Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte and Frida Kahlo and other surrealist artists, students will explore mixed media artwork that reflect the surrealist 20th-century avant-garde movement. Surrealism touches on both art and literature and seeks to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind through the unusual juxtaposition of images.
Taught by Artist Instructor Bruce Carrion.
 
Dates: Fridays in February 15, 22 and March 1, 2019
Times: 3:30-5:30pm
Fee: $25 and includes all materials, Military $21

Teen Class Series: Mixed Media & Pointillism with Bruce Carrion
 
 
Dots and color!
Pointillism is a Post-Impressionist technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image employed by artists such as Georges Seurat, Paul Signac and Henri Matisse. Students will explore mixed media, color theory and pointillist techniques in this class.
