Studio ACE Teen’s Art Classes for June 2019

Studio ACE announces its June line-up of classes for Teens in partnership with the Oceanside Library. Each class will explore a different art concept and artist. This month, you can register for all classes at The Oceanside Public Library. You can call Studio ACE at 760-730-5203 with any questions. Studio ACE is located at 3861 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92058, next to the Mission Branch of the Oceanside Library.

Teen Class: Graffiti!
This mixed media class will explore the neo-expressionistic style and work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, an influential American artist of Haitian and Puerto Rican descent. Collage and oil pastels will be involved in creating works inspired by this artist.
Instructed by young Artist Instructor Yamilette Carrión, it’s guaranteed to be a cool and creative time!

Teen Class: Floral and Landscapes
This acrylic painting class will explore the modern floral pieces and landscapes created by Georgia O’Keefe, an American artist recognized as the “Mother of American Modernism.”
Instructed by young Artist Instructor Yamilette Carrión, it’s guaranteed to be a cool and creative time!

Teen Class: Watercolor
This mixed media class will focus on the layered brushstroke techniques exhibited in the contemporary works of Hung Liu, a Chinese-born American artist. Watercolor and acrylic painting will be involved in this process.
