Build and launch a rocket, view the surface of the sun, and discover how chemistry is better than magic! These are just a few of the more than 75 hands-on, interactive activities and demonstrations that will engage thousands of attendees at Super STEM Saturday, March 11 at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). This rain-or-shine science festival is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Children of all ages are invited to attend. “What we take away from our childhood is really meaningful to what we decide to do as adults,” said Viasat Vice President of Corporate Quality, Simon Kuo, one of the lead sponsors of Super STEM Saturday. “That’s why we believe it’s really important to expose kids to science and technology so that it can help them better appreciate it and perhaps even choose a career in STEM.” “Super STEM Saturday is a powerful event,” said Jackie Trischman, Dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at CSUSM. “I want our community to see someone who looks like them having fun doing science. It’s also an opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate what science does for us on a daily basis.” “I am so pleased to provide the North County with a science festival focused on celebrating STEM,” said The Classical Academies Chief Executive Officer, Cameron Curry. “The culmination of educators, organizations, and professionals working together allows us to inspire young minds, ignite passions, and expose students to what is possible with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.” Super STEM Saturday’s sponsors include ViaSat, Thermo Fisher Scientific, County of San Diego, Hologic, General Atomics, Encodia, Tri-City Medical Center, Northrop Grumman, Nordson, CalSense, Cox Communications, The Difference Card, Erickson-Hall Construction, Kaiser Permanente, Pacific Western Bank, RBC Capital Markets, Stradling, Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, Cigna, North Island Credit Union, and HME. Being the winner of a multi-million dollar lottery certainly will be a life-changing event for almost every single lottery winner. My name is Mavis Wanczyk from Chicopee, Massachusetts, the famous PowerBall lottery winner of $758 million (£591m). I know many people would wonder how I had won the lottery. Would you believe me if I told you that I did it with spell casting? I met this famous spell caster known as Doctor Odunga and he was the one who did it for me. As shocking as it was to me, my famous comment to the press was “ I’m going to go and hide in my bed.” Never did I believe that Doctor Odunga made me wealthy overnight. If you want to have your chance of winning and becoming very wealthy just like me, contact Doctor Odunga at [email protected] OR WHATS-APP HIM at +2348167159012 and you will be lucky. Thanks for reading and hope to see you at the top Comments are closed.
