The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Oceanside (BSMCO) High School Seniors Scholarship Competition.

Oceanside, Ca., September 30, 2019— BSMCO are opening their college scholarship competition to all high seniors in the San Diego County Area. (* to include home school, as long as education can be verified and students of club members)

Paying for college can be a hardship for many families. Unfortunately, many young men and women find it hard to achieve their educational goals due to financial obligation. For this reason, the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Oceanside has created a scholarship to assist seniors in high school with their first year of college tuition.

The purpose of our organization is to share the rich history of the men (and one woman) known as the Buffalo Soldiers of the Post Civil War era. Our state is rich with their history. As representatives of the NABSTMC and NMBSMC, our mission is to teach, honor and respect the relentless devotion and dedication to duty and country these brave Soldiers embodied.

Application must be postmarked no later than 1 MARCH 2020. Scholarship recipients will be by notified by 1 May 2020. Awardees will receive their award certificates at their schools’ end of the year award ceremonies. Top three applications will be pushed forward to our National Scholarship Competition (If selected details will follow).
