TrueCare and the San Marcos City Chamber celebrated the opening of their newest location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for TrueCare’s West San Marcos QuickCare on Grand Avenue. The new TrueCare West San Marcos QuickCare is providing prompt vital medical care to North San Diego County residents, especially with the rise of the flu, RSV and COVID. The QuickCare gives North County residents greater access to same-day, non-emergency health care services that require immediate attention like these viruses, as well as coughs, colds, sinus infections, eye/ear/nose and throat ailments, minor injuries, vaccinations and COVID testing. Joining the grand opening event were San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones and San Marcos Chamber CEO Rick Rungaitis, among many other supporters. Adrienne Cisneros-Selekman from County Supervisor Jim Desmond’s office presented TrueCare President and CEO Michelle D. Gonzalez with a Proclamation for bringing much-needed health care access to the area. “Health care is a right for everyone and a privilege for no one,” said TrueCare President and CEO Michelle D. Gonzalez. “It’s very exciting to see all of the access to health care for all our lower income people,” said San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones. “We are very excited to see all of the opportunities to keep people healthy, which we love in San Marcos.” TrueCare’s QuickCare health centers provide same-day appointments without the stressful “urgent care” experience. TrueCare’s West San Marcos QuickCare is located at 1595 Grand Avenue, Suite 106, San Marcos, CA 92078. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients are encouraged to call or text (760) 736-6767 to schedule an appointment before arriving.
