 Oceanside, CA (JUNE, 2019) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) has been selected by Boys & Girls Clubs of America to receive a $10,000 grant from Cox Communications Inc. for a Cox Technology Center/Innovation Lab.
 Oceanside, CA - On April 11, 2019, the North County Transit District (NCTD) will retire the current version of GoNCTD.com, and launch a new state-of-the-art website. The current website, which has been in place for more than five years, utilizes three different sites to make up GoNCTD.com – a desktop version, a limited access mobile version, and a news center for press releases. The redesigned site merges all of these into one contemporary website.
 In 2009, the City of Oceanside adopted the Coast Highway Vision and Strategic Plan. This plan serves as a blueprint for the revitalization and enhancement of the Coast Highway corridor between Harbor Drive in the north and Buena Vista Lagoon in the south. The Vision and Strategic Plan includes several recommendations to transform Coast Highway from an auto-oriented thoroughfare into a "complete street" that serves all modes of transportation from automobiles to pedestrians to bicyclists and transit vehicles.
 For baseball fans and those wishing to spend later hours in Downtown San Diego this baseball season, the North County Transit District (NCTD) will be hitting a home run by providing additional service after most* Padres games to bring people home.
 The Build NCC team has put together an E-Toolkit to help inform motorists traveling along the Build NCC construction corridor – between Manchester Avenue in the City of Encinitas and Palomar Airport Road in the City of Carlsbad – that speed limit has been reduced to 55 miles per hour.
 Oceanside, CA - The North County Transit District (NCTD) is set to launch the “beta” or test version of a new website to support the future upgrade of the current GoNCTD.com site. Beginning on March 15, 2019, the public will be invited to visit the new website, browse the pages, and take a short survey documenting their experience.

 Oceanside, CA (JANUARY, 2019) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) received $1,000 from The Union Bank Foundation to grow and expand the STREAMing Ahead Program.
Oceanside Adventures, a luxury Whale Watching company located in front of the historic Light House in Oceanside Harbor, encountered 2 gray whales last week on two different tours.
 The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) is looking for local restaurants to participate in our 4th Annual Cuisine for Kids fundraising celebration on Thursday, March 7th, 2019. This event is our official kick-off for our Annual Giving Campaign. We will offer the best food, wine and beer North County has to offer.
 The San Diego Superior Court is now seeking dedicated residents with sound judgment from throughout the county to serve on the 2019/2020 San Diego County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury investigates citizen complaints and performs its traditional function as a “watchdog” over government agencies. It does not conduct criminal investigations.
 Oceanside, CA--North County Transit District (NCTD) has achieved full implementation of the federally-mandated Positive Train Control (PTC) safety system for 58.5 miles of track it controls within the San Diego County portion of the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor (LOSSAN). NCTD is one of only four agencies across the country that has completed PTC implementation by the federally-mandated deadline of December 31, 2018.

The WFC is a plethora of cooking and baking competitions held over a five-day period, ranging from Barbecue, Burgers and Chicken, to Seafood, Chili and Desserts. U.S. Pizza Team member Tore Trupiano, of Dominic’s Italian Restaurant in Oceanside, California, made the trip to test his culinary prowess. Trupiano placed 10th in the world overall for his beautiful bacon dishes.
